Genuine vintage navy and white belted midi dress, likely dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s.
A fabulous mixed geometric print with bold oversized flowers in navy, hot pink, mustard and white. The print changes through the dress, moving from a diamond design across the shoulders and bodice into smaller dot and grid sections, then finishing with large statement florals across the skirt.
Cut with a wide pointed collar, short sleeves and four glossy navy domed buttons at the neckline. The original matching fabric belt is included and fastens through a large navy circular buckle, giving the dress a lovely defined-waist shape. The skirt falls in a softly flared A-line silhouette.
The outer fabric has a lightly textured crepe-like feel and is likely synthetic, though there is no composition label, so the exact fibre cannot be confirmed. The dress is fully lined in white, and the lining remains in excellent condition.

The 40-inch garment bust suggests a likely modern UK 14-16, depending on preferred fit and waist measurement. I am a 16 and it’s slightly tight on me but it would fit a smaller 16.
Very good vintage condition. The fabric, buttons, matching belt and buckle are all present, and the white lining is exceptionally clean. No major stains, holes or repairs spotted. Minor signs of age or storage may be present, as expected with a garment of this age.
A brilliant summer vintage dress for garden parties, holidays, vintage fairs, lunches, daytime events or wedding-guest styling. Pair it with white sandals, navy heels, a straw bag or bright pink accessories to pick up the flower centres.
