Description
1980s Lisa Michaels blouse, made in the USA from lightweight 100% polyester.
A bold jewel-toned abstract animal print in turquoise, teal, cobalt blue, purple, pink and black, with a softly glossy finish that catches the light beautifully.
The blouse has fine vertical pleating across the front, gently gathered shoulders, full-length sleeves with buttoned cuffs and deep purple satin-style piping around the round neckline. A wide band finishes the hem, with a long attached tie at one side that can be knotted or tied into a bow. The back closes with two purple buttons and fabric loops.
Labelled a vintage US size 14. The chest measures approximately 21 inches pit to pit, giving a 42-inch garment chest. Likely to suit around a modern UK 14-16 or 12 for an oversized fit.
Perfect with high-waisted denim shorts, white linen trousers, wide-leg jeans or a satin slip skirt. Great for festivals, holidays, rooftop drinks, colourful evening outfits or adding an 80s statement to everyday denim. It would work open over a camisole or tied at the waist for a more relaxed summer look.
