Description
Genuine vintage David blouse, styled by Tosol and made in Australia, most likely dating from the 1980s.
It has a soft mint green and white ornate paisley-style print, a pointed collar and short sleeves with gathering across the shoulders and back yoke. The loose blouson-shaped body fastens with shiny silver-tone domed buttons and finishes with a wide elasticated pleated hem, giving it a lovely tucked-in look without needing to be tucked into trousers or a skirt.
Made from polyester with a lightweight, fluid feel and a subtle sheen.
Labelled Australian size 20. It measures approximately 26 inches pit to pit, giving a full chest measurement of around 52 inches. The elasticated waistband measures approximately 21 inches across relaxed and stretches to around 30 inches across. Based on those measurements, it may suit roughly a modern UK 20–24 depending on body shape and how loose you like the fit.
Shoulder pads are in perfect condition and can be removed.
A fun piece of wearable 1980s fashion that would look great with high-waisted jeans, wide-leg trousers, a denim skirt or shorts. The light colour and short sleeves suit spring and summer particularly well, though it could work under a cardigan through early autumn too.
