Important: this estimates when the RN number may have been issued to the manufacturer. It does not prove the garment was made in that year. A company can keep using the same RN for decades.

Jolly tip: Think of an RN like a business registration number. It belongs to the company, not the individual garment. So an RN issued around 1964 could still appear on a blouse made in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
