Description
Pretty vintage blush pink blouse with delicate floral embroidery across the neckline, chest and sleeve edges.
Likely dating from the late 1980s to early 1990s, it has a softly structured straight cut, short sleeves and small side splits at the hem. The neckline is finished with scalloped embroidery, pale blue detailing and an openwork panel, with embroidered roses and leaves in pink, cream and muted green.
The sleeves have matching scalloped edges and small floral motifs near the cuffs. It fastens at the back neck with a fabric-covered button and keyhole opening.
The fabric has a smooth, lightly lustrous finish and is likely synthetic, though there is no visible composition label, so the exact fibre cannot be confirmed.
The original label contains Chinese characters and a circular logo, with a separate size marking of 88/96. It measures approximately 19 inches pit to pit, giving a 38-inch garment chest. I would estimate it to suit around a modern UK 10–12, depending on the preferred fit.
